Beginning Your Foundation at NHF

Just fill out the application and send it in with at least $385 (which includes a $100 required initial deposit). You will receive back a lovely parchment certificate, plus our printed materials. The certificate is appropriate for your office or den wall, and will help qualify you in materials you might publish.

Submitting Funds to Your Foundation

Giving funds to your foundation for future charitable purposes is easy!

You and anyone you accept funds from can help you further the causes you elect to support. Checks can be made out in the name of the Foundation and then added to your account by sending them to us using the Donation Deposit Form.

We will also establish a donation page for you online. This page is specific to your Foundation so that contributions can easily be made directly to your Foundation through the use of a credit card or electronic check.

Consider Your Giving Strategy

Talk with your financial planner. Will you inted to have short or long term plans when pertaining to your gifting?

You are able to make gifts to U.S. and approved overseas charities, scholarship funds and select other programs.

We give you the ability to make these gifting requests in many different ways:

1. Reoccuring requests through the use of a paper document called the Disbursement Request Form which will ensure gifts are made continually with no additional effort from you.
2. You may also use the Disbursement Request Form only for one-time spontaneous donations or in addition to recurring donations.
3. Or you may also log into your Foundation Account online which we will make available to you. Here you may select from a long list of already approved charities or submit your own for approval. You may then direct gifts to these charities online right from your own computer!

Since NHF is doing all the administrative work, you simply have the fun of sending funds to, and making donations from, your Foundation!
